PoE 2 Patch 0.3.0 Fissure Warrior Build – Fastest Enemy Clearing & Farming Guide

After much anticipation, Path of Exile 2 patch 0.3.0, The Third Edict has finally arrived. With a host of new content and mechanics, you’ll be able to continue your conquests across Wraeclast!

While this patch doesn’t introduce any new classes, you can definitely use the new mechanics to develop powerful builds for existing classes, such as Fissure Warrior Build we’re introducing today.

While some consider Warrior a less-than-powerful class in The Third Edict, this build stacks up massive damage with reliable map clearing capabilities, earning you a ton of Path of Exile 2 currency right from the start of this league by playing Warrior.

Below, we’ll explain how to craft and utilize this build.

Which Ascendancy Class Should You Choose?

As you know, each Path of Exile 2 class has its own Ascendancy class, which provides specialized upgrade options for your character and build. Warbringer is the optimal Ascendancy class for a Fissure Warrior build.

Warbringer’s key strength lies in channeling the power of ancestral spirits to unleash massive damage. To maximize its power, you can pair it with the following key abilities.

Volcanic Fissure:

  • AoE, Melee, Slam, Sustained.
  • Converts 60% of physical damage to fire damage.
  • When dual-wielding, both weapons deal 30% less damage.
  • Creates Fissure, which lasts 12 seconds.

Forge Hammer:

  • AoE, Melee, Slam, Sustained.
  • Converts 30% of physical damage to fire damage.
  • Converts 100% of physical damage to fire damage.
  • Increases attack speed by 70%.

Of course, to acquire these abilities in-game, you must equip the corresponding gems. Given the sheer number of gems available in PoE 2, this can be a laborious process.

What Is Totem?

In Path of Exile 2, totems are structures with special effects that allow you to cast spells or physically attack enemies. While using this mechanic in combat, you can also enhance your teammates’ totems with other skills.

How Does This Build Stack Damage?

As we’ve already mentioned, damage output is the core strength of Fissure Warrior Build. After Forge Hammer explodes, the totem triggers more rifts, which then trigger on top of Earthquake stack.

If you have multiple totems, all damage is multiplied by the corresponding multiplier. For example, if a Level 42 Earthquake explosion deals 1000 damage, if you have three totems, it will deal 3000 damage.

You can then add two more Earthquakes, increasing the totem’s damage to 6000 per impact. Then, by stacking Volcanic Fissure and hitting it with three totems simultaneously, it deals an additional 1800 damage.

In fact, Forge Hammer itself can deal 800 damage through its own skill effects, and it can also stack more damage by being hit by multiple totems simultaneously.

Available Gear

Honestly, this build doesn’t have any specific gear requirements for use. You can choose your own build, but dual-wielding is recommended. More importantly, you should consume POE 2 Divine Orbs to re-roll for better modifiers on your gear.

However, as your character and build level up, the gear strength requirements will increase, you will also need more orbs. So it will be more convenient to simply buy PoE2 currency at POECurrency.com!

Which Gems Should You Add?

In addition to the core skills already mentioned, you’ll need to equip this build with more gems to further enhance it. You can farm them yourself or visit POECURRENCY for easier access.

The first gem you should acquire is Boneshatter. Stunning enemies with it will release a damaging shockwave. Rolling Slam skill gem increases your attack speed.

Continue adding the support gem Rage, which grants 30% bonus attack damage, until you earn your first tier three gem by killing The Rust King. The ideal choice is obviously Shockwave Totem, as it combines with Stomping Ground to unleash even more shockwaves.

Next, you can choose Martial Tempo to boost your agility, gain Magnified Effect to increase your intelligence. Next, you need to increase your skill speed and convert skill consumption into health.

After completing these steps, your character should be powerful enough to reach level 22 in the early game to unlock Ascendancy class, giving you access to more totems.

Alternatively, you can switch your tier three gem choice to Branching Fissures, which means your support skill’s fissure branches twice, giving you more ways to stack damage.

After acquiring the buff skill Time of Need, add Compressed Duration, allowing it to trigger more frequently. Blessings will then restore some health while removing curses and elemental ailments, extending your survivability.

Additionally, in your skill tree, you’ll want to make sure you unlock more nodes that help you regenerate health to cover the damage consumed while dealing damage. Gear that helps with health regeneration is also worth keeping.

How To Further Plan Your Totems For This Build?

Next, you’ll want to combine the bonus attack speed with the top node in your totem cluster to increase your damage output. This will make your fissure more powerful if you have extra totems, and the fissure triggers will be more powerful.

Based on this effect, you can then place and deploy totems faster. Then, you should strive to obtain the totem ancestral artifact, which will increase your totem damage output by up to 40%.

It’s important to note that when a totem cluster is extended to its highest point and a totem is active, it restores 5% of your damage, increasing the damage dealt to nearby enemies.

Combining this with Molten One’s Gift allows you to apply full armor penetration to fire damage taken, as all damage dealt will be applied to the third attack.

Furthermore, you can create additional aftershocks with skills like Split The Earth, giving all your skills a slam nature and stacking even more damage.

In short, if you’re patient enough to delve into the totem mechanics of PoE 2, Fissure Warrior Build will offer surprising combat effects through its damage stacking capabilities! Give it a try on your next playthrough!
